Mixed Media
Antonietta
Woerner
I am creating Artwork and Craft projects all my life. Starting with needle works like knitting, crochet and bead jewelry making I found my final media in painting. I started to paint with acrylic and oil paints and moved over to working with alcohol ink and epoxy resin with color pigments. As bases for my work I am using canvas, wood boards and tiles and as well as other flat surfaces like tables, guitars and others.

Painting
Carl
Carter
I taught myself how to paint to make ends meet after a back injury as a steelworker. While selling my art on the streets of Seattle Washington I also taught myself the business of art by reading books for free inside of barns and nobles bookstores during business hours.

Painting
Christopher
Bidinger
I always loved galaxy art and had always wished I knew how to paint a galaxy. When I was in 9th grade, I ended up seeing a video of someone spray painting a galaxy and I figured it was time for me to learn how to do that. So, I began molding my own skateboards and painting them galaxy to sell. Throughout my practice on scrap pieces of wood and cheap canvas I realized I had a lot of potential to start down the fine art and mural path. I realized the passion within this side hustle and now have capitalized on it.

Painting
David
Ruggeri
My work consists primarily of acrylic and spray paint on canvas.

Painting
Emily
Matticks
I have been painting for over 8 years. I strive to create pieces that are very personal to me, as well as my audience. I use highly saturated color in almost all of my paintings to express whimsy and eccentricity

Painting
Ijee
Brown

Printing

The monoprints are completed by choosing from hundreds of linocuts done over the years to create rhythmic, overlapping , textural, abstract archetypes of walking figures, faces, fragmented memories. The linocut plates or stamps are inked in different values/colors and overlapped on printers paper.

Laura
Rangos
"Images are formed by using patterned cotton fabrics that are cut to match designed artwork, stitched together, and stretched over wood to create a quilted surface. All wooden frames are hand-made. The owner, Laura Rangos, is a local artist (Rochester, MI) has had a lifelong dream of being able to share her works of art at shows, fairs, and other art events. She is now able to live out that dream and spends her time traveling to various locations, sharing her creations of texture and color.

Painting
Marta
Carvajal
Marta's work is getting seriously collectable. Many collectors are purchasing it now while it is still affordable.

Photography
Miguel
Denyer
"My name is Miguel Denyer, and I am an expatriate British Armed Forces Veteran now living in Garden City, Michigan. I have been a nature & wildlife photographer for the past 9 years.
I have always had an affinity for nature and a love of the outdoors and, as a nature and wildlife photographer, my goal is to capture scenes of the world around me and communicate them to others in a way that transports them visually and mentally to the place where I was standing when taking a particular photograph. My aim is that if I have succeeded in producing a particular image the way I envisioned it in my mind’s eye, then it will “speak” to the viewer and evoke a sense of wonder and emotion.
For me, nature photography is a challenging pursuit that I enjoy most because it calls upon more than just my artistic talent - it also takes skill, patience, and technical knowledge, all of which, make my pursuit of photography that much more challenging, and when successful, that much more fulfilling."

Painting
Onzie
Norman
I use acrylic, enamel, spray paint, paper, wood and resin in any combination.

Sabrina

When the University of Michigan
kicked my roommates and I out of our dorm
during the Fall 2020 semester, we stared at the stockpile of napkins we received from the dining hall and wondered how many ribs we would have to eat to use them all. But then I got an idea to use them in my work. That's how my napkin art started

Painting
Shayla
Watson
My work is a manifestation of colorful thoughts and unique concepts. Through cups full of liquified pigment, my goal is to share the joy of color in a world of black and white and stimulate minds in an “inkblot test” kind of way.

Painting
Sophie
Grillet
I want to focus attention on disasters in the world through hope and beauty.

Printing
Trevor
Grabil
I make woodcut and linocut relief prints. My blocks are hand-carved from found and intentionally selected wood pieces, and the prints are made individually by me on a small press. I'm most interested in exploring the physical and spiritual landscape of the Great Lakes region.
